The Sunshine PAL Super Bowl was an overall success. Lakeland Teams dominated the Super Bowl divisions with wins going to a few others.

NFL YOUTH FOOTBALL FUND

The PLANT CITY EAGLES YOUTH FOOTBALL & CHEERLEADING has been awarded a grant on behalf of Kellen Winslow Jr., as part of the NFL Player Matching Grant Program. The program allows current NFL players who make financial contributions to approved youth football programs to apply to the NFL Youth Football Fund for matching grants of up to $5,000.00 for each program.

Established in 1998 by the NFL and NFL Players Association, the NFL Youth Football Fund (YFF) seeks to use football as a catalyst to promote positive youth development, support youth and high school football nationwide, and ensure the health of football in future generations. Through the YFF's youth football initiatives and support programs, youngsters are provided with the opportunities to learn the game of football, get physically fit and stay involved in productive after-school activities with adult mentors.
